The Mount Pleasant has a varied entertainment programme, which includes:

Saturday Nights are Given Over to Live Artists.  Not just a singer with a backing track, but real local musicians from a variety of genres, from soul to classic rock.

Friday Night is Karaoke Night .  Come along and join in with a song, or just sit back and listen. Our Karaoke hosts are Woody and Matty, and they each have a huge range of songs for you to choose from, plus your chosen lyrics are fed on to a 50” plasma screen. With full disco lighting, you can really get in to the swing of the evening, and even encourage the audience to get up and have a boogie!

Fun Bingo Quizzes Every Sunday and Wednesday.  Pascal is our Wednesday Quiz Master, and from 9pm he produces and presents three rounds of pictures, trivia and music. Sunday’s quiz starts at 8.30pm and is hosted by Gabs and Ange. There are four rounds of pictures, trivia and music, but be warned, it can be a little risque! Both quizzes only cost £1 to take part and all money  collected is paid out in prizes, plus there are free chip butties!

Thursday is NUTS Poker League Night.

Whether you are an old hand at the game or just fancy having a go, come along and see the lovely Andrea who runs a great game here at The Mount.  

Registration costs just £2 and is from 8pm, and doing so before 8.15pm gets you an extra 10% worth of chips to play with. There is always a great atmosphere and we also have a high proportion of ladies taking part.
